Dr. Gang Tang

Associate Professor, Beijing Institute of Technology
Gang Tang is an Associate Professor at the Advanced Research Institute of Multidisciplinary Science, Beijing Institute of Technology. His research focuses on using materials simulation, machine learning, and data science to design new materials for tackling critical challenges, including photovoltaics, ferroelectrics, piezoelectrics, and thermoelectrics.
Gang Tang received his PhD from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2019. After completing a postdoctoral position in the Department of Physics at the University of Liège, Belgium, under the supervision of Prof. Philippe Ghosez, he was appointed as an Associate Professor at the Advanced Research Institute of Multidisciplinary Science, Beijing Institute of Technology, in December 2021.
